  A controversial social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), is a Nigerian revolutionary, activist, human rights activist, philanthropist and influencer who is a prominent figure in Nigerian civil and political rights. Accused of speaking ill of the country and its goverance has been taken into custody by the Economic and financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This was after he was arrested on Friday by officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) at the premises of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) in Abuja.
