Nigerian designer Veekee James‘ birthday was an extravagant and fabulous fashion affair, from her pre-birthday looks to the actual event and the outfits worn by guests, it was truly a fashion fiesta.


Veekee had announced a monetary prize of ₦1,000,000 and the title of “Best Dressed” for the evening. The theme, “Couture & High Fashion”, asked guests to go above and beyond. While many attendees were well-dressed, Nons Miraj truly outdid herself, which Veekee James even acknowledged when she presented her with the cash prize.

Nons Miraj’s winning outfit, designed by xtaqueendesignz, was a striking mix of black and pink lace. However, the standout feature was the feathered wings attached to the dress. This creative addition was definitely time-consuming to create and ultimately sealed her victory. Congratulations to Nons Miraj!

    Popular Nigerian actress, Queeneth Hilbert has dragged her colleague, Destiny Etiko for snatching her man. Queeneth Hilbert who made the allegation in a viral video on social media, threatened to beat Etiko up if she visits Asaba, the Delta state capital.     Multichoice, the organisers of the popular realityTV show, Big Brother Naija has announced the official audition dates for the tenth edition. Multichoice confirmed the upcoming season, with more details set to be shared in the coming weeks. The details regarding the auditions was revealed through a post on Big Brother Naija’s official Instagram page this past Saturday. According to the post, the online auditions have been open since May 3, 2025, and close on May 7, 2025. TheNewsGuru reports that participate in the online auditions may also have the chance to be selected and be invited to attend in-person auditions.
